In order to be approved to volunteer in any capacity in any MGSD school or department, potential volunteers will need to apply and enter his/her information at this link personally themselves. By law, school personnel cannot complete this application for any volunteer or chaperone!
Once approved, the volunteer will receive a pocket "Secure Volunteer " ID card within 14 business days to present to school personnel each time they enter the school to volunteer. (The volunteer can present the confirmation email and a government issued photo ID to school personnel during the 14-day waiting period in order to volunteer or chaperone prior to receiving their pocket card.)
This application will only need to be successfully completed once annually in order to volunteer/chaperone throughout the school district.
