Park View Elementary School exists for the purpose of preparing ALL students to become future ready students in the 21st Century. As a community of learners, we are committed to the development of critical thinking, communication skills, positive attitudes, and respect for self and others, as well as address the individual needs of Every Child, Every Day.

The vision of Park View Elementary School is to be a state and nationally recognized school by demonstrating success of all students. We will provide a safe, collaborative environment built on the pillars of respect, trust and academic excellence in a positive and caring atmosphere.

Leanne Rose, a second-grade teacher at Park View Elementary School in the Mooresville Graded School District (MGSD), was named the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) Beginning Teacher of the Year in a special ceremony Thursday, December 5, 2019. Rose was named the MGSD Beginning Teacher of the Year in August 2019. Click the headline to read more!

On Tuesday, November 5, elections will be held for the Mooresville Graded School District Board of Education. Community members living within the MGSD school district will have the opportunity to vote for up to three school board candidates. MGSD has a non-partisan, five-member board of education. This election cycle there are three seats up for vote with four candidates running for those seats. In this guide, our our community members have the opportunity to learn about the four candidates and read, in the candidates' words, their answers to four identical questions about themselves, the district, and education. Thank you!

At the Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, the MGSD Board passed a resolution requesting the County Commissioners place a bond referendum on the March 2020 ballot. For details click on the headline.
