MGSD Inclement Weather Plan in effect for Tuesday, February 3, 2026

Hello MGSD families!

Mooresville Graded School District facilities will be closed on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Our remote learning plan will be in effect.

• Safety First: Please stay off the roads if possible and stay warm!

• Extracurriculars: All before and after-school activities, sports practices, and MGSD community events are also canceled. The February 3 Board of Education meeting will also be canceled and all business items will be moved to the March 3 meeting.

• BASP:  Our Before and After School program will be closed.

• Remote Learning: Our MGSD remote learning plan will be in effect. Please note that all learning will be asynchronous which does not require virtually meeting with the teacher.

  • Kindergarten - 5th grade:  Students should have their inclement weather packet to work on for February 3, 2026. In addition, check your teacher’s ParentSquare feed for any additional messages.

  • 6th - 12th grade: Students need to log into CANVAS and check their teacher’s ParentSquare feed for additional information on assignments for February 3, 2026.

We will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates regarding Wednesday’s schedule via ParentSquare, our website and social media channels. ❄️
