MGSD Inclement Weather Plan for Wednesday, February 4, 2026

Hello, MGSD families!

Mooresville Graded School District facilities will be closed to the public on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.  Our remote learning plan will be in effect.

• Safety First: While the warmer temperatures have made an impact on the snow we received on Sunday, there are still several hazardous areas on roads throughout the district. 

• Extracurriculars: All before and after-school activities, sports practices, and MGSD community events are also canceled. 

• BASP:  Our Before and After School program will be closed.

• Remote Learning: Our MGSD remote learning plan will be in effect. Please note that all learning will be asynchronous which does not require virtually meeting with the teacher.

  • Kindergarten - 5th grade:  Students should have their inclement weather packet to work on for February 4, 2026. In addition, check your teacher’s ParentSquare feed for any additional messages.

  • 6th - 12th grade: Students need to log into CANVAS and check their teacher’s ParentSquare feed for additional information on assignments for February 4, 2026.
